Fraggle Rock Costumes

A high-energy musical Muppet adventure was played out during every episode of the Jim Henson’s “Fraggle Rock.” Through catchy music that really draws you in, the Fraggle’s sang their little stuffed heads off. Their music often taught folks a thing or two about some of the more pressing issues of the day, or just sent out a positive and happy message.

The Fraggle’s five main characters are an eclectic bunch. Gobo, the self-professed leader is grounded and pragmatic. He likes to be in charge of the Fraggle’s and take control of situations. He plays a guitar that looks like a hollowed out gourd. He is orange with bright purple hair.

Mokey is the artistic and more new age Fraggle. She is spiritual, loves to be creative, reads poetry and enjoys painting. Mokey has a positive and upbeat attitude as well. She is mauve skinned and has aqua colored hair.

Red is the jock of the group of Fraggles. She loves to swim and be athletic.

Boober is the Fraggle killjoy. He is negative, sad and a bit mopey with a bad attitude most of the time. It should come as no surprise that he is often heard singing the blues.

Wembley doesn’t know how to say no to anyone or anything. She is so worried about hurting someone’s feelings. Nervous and a bit anxious, she channels her emotions into some wicked percussion and often plays the bongos.
