Warts
Warts come in all shapes, colors, and sizes. They are a nuisance caused by a viral infection and are thought to be incurable; that is unless you are a witch. People have tried countless ways for centuries to find a cure for warts; you may have tried to bite it off, scratch it off, kill it with bleach, cut it with a razor, clip it with some nail clippers, file it down, rub it with salicylic acid, or even use medicated bandages only to find that it comes back with a vengeance with a few weeks. There are those who go to the doctor to have their warts frozen periodically and there are those who swear by home remedies like duct tape or apple cider vinegar. Many people have been successful in praying away their warts or having healers pray for them to disappear. East Anglican folklore has records of numerous methods for curing warts, some that are still practiced today. Many of the stories credit witches for the charms that cure warts. Known witch formulas include grasshoppers, snails, dandelions, cow thistles, and of course toads. The witch charms will only work under a new moon and are not recommended to be attempted by an untrained witch.
