Follow These Steps to Create this Look
Step One: The traditional ninja look involves a costume with a hood and a mask over the lower half of the face. Thus, our ninja makeup look will entirely focus on the eyes. If desired, you can apply a foundation to your entire face including the area around the eyes. Choose a complimentary color that matches your natural skin tone as closely as possible. Our lovely model, soon to be Ninja, is wearing Mehron Cream Makeup in Light Beige. (#DD411) Powder the face with a setting powder to set your makeup. (#DD321)
Step Two: Begin applying the eye makeup with Celebre Shadoliner in Gold. (#DD133) Use this color primarily on the lower eyelid and in the crease of the eyelid and blend in well.
Step Three: Deepen the eyeshadow in the crease area above the eye with a dark brown color, Chestnut Brown (#DD343) and blend well with an eyeshadow brush.
Step Four: The next step is to use Jet Black E.Y.E. Cream (#DD107) and an eye shadow brush. Apply this color only to the eyelid area and blending in very well. Use this same Jet Black E.Y.E. Cream and a slim liner brush to line the upper lash line as well as the lash line underneath the lower eyelashes.
Step Five: Using a dark brown Liner Pencil (#DE01) fill in the eyebrows to create a very dramatic eyebrow. Brown is often a better choice than black as it gives you a thick, dark brow without appearing overly cartoony. Use short, hair-like strokes to fill in the brows. Use a small brow brush to blend if desired.
Step Six: Apply a pair of dramatic false eyelashes to complete the eye look. (#EA80) For best results, apply a thin stream of eyelash glue to the edge of the lash. Allow the glue to set up for about 10 seconds before attempting to apply the lash. Once the glue begins to set, using your fingers (or a pair of tweezers if desired) apply the eyelash to the upper lash line. Gently hold the lash in place until it is set and begins to adhere. Apply the second lash to the other eye in the same manner.
Step Seven: Once you’ve finished making up your eyes Ninja-style, you can apply the rest of your makeup as desired, or go au naturel under your mask if you prefer.
