Creating a Draculaura Costume Look

These ghouls are too cool for school, but they are perfect for your next Halloween party! This monstrous group of slightly scary, but oh so hip chicks are very much inspired by real life monsters. In fact, as the back story goes, each of these girls is actually the daughter of one of the most infamous monsters of all time. Draculaura is the daughter of Count Dracula. Frankie Stein is the daughter of Frankenstein. Clawdeen Wolf is the daughter of a werewolf...and so it goes. Monster High has combined weird and freaky with fabulous and fun, the end result being a group of characters that has taken young teens and beyond by storm.

If you are looking for some simple makeup techniques that will enhance your Draculaura (or other Monster High character) look to perfection, you've come to the right place. Follow our easy, step-by-step instructions to get that perfect Draculaura look that is absolutely to die for!

How to Create a Draculaura Costume Look

Follow These Steps to Create this Look

Step One:  Start your Draculaura Makeup look with a makeup base. Choose a color that most closely matches your natural complexion. We have used Celebre's Foundation in Light Beige Blush (#DD411) on our model. Blend the makeup base into your face with a damp cosmetic sponge.

Step Two:  Using a small brush, add a little bit of water to Mehron's Paradise Makeup in Light Pink (#DD498) and apply this color to the eyelids up to the eyebrows.

Step Three:  With Mehron's E.Y.E. Cream in Black (#DD107) and a small brush, blend a little of the eye shadow color into the crease of the eyelid and blend in well.

Step Four:  Line along the lash line of the upper and lower eyelids, using a sharpened black eyeliner pencil. (#DD535)

Step Five:  Next apply false eyelashes. We have used the Black Beaded Eyelashes (#DG14473) for a creepy, yet glamorous look that is perfect for Draculaura. NOTE: If your "Draculaura" is very young, you may want to forego the use of false eyelashes.

Step Six:  Apply Mehron cheek powder in Wineberry to the apples of the cheeks and blend in very well.

Step Seven:  Using the Paradise Light Pink makeup slightly thinned with water and a small brush, paint a small heart shape on the left cheek of your Draculaura. Use this same color to paint the lips pink.

Step Eight:  Using a setting powder (#DD321), gently dust the powder over the face in order to set the makeup.

Step Nine:  Add Mehron's Glosstone lip gloss in the natural color (#DD366) to the lips in order to give them luminous shine.

Step Ten:  Using a small brush, dab on a small amount of Paradise glitter in Pastel Pink (#DD827) to the heart you just painted on the cheek, the lips, and apply a little of this glitter to the cheeks as well.

Now it's time to get into your freaky fab Draculaura costume and dress up as that favorite ghoul next door. Our model is wearing the adult-sized Draculaura costume (#RU880701) along with the groovy ghoul adult-sized Draculaura pigtailed wig, (#RU52680). Draculaura has found her best friends Frankie Stein, (#RU880700, wig #RU52680) and Clawdeen Wolf (#RU88701, wig #RU52682) and the whole freaked-out group is now ready for some serious high-voltage fun in the catacombs of Monster High!
