OUR SHIPPING POLICIES
Shipments to addresses within the United States are shipped from our distribution center in North Carolina. We use a number of carriers but primarily UPS and USPS. At the time of checkout you will be presented with the available shipment methods. Shipping and handling charges are calculated based on the method of shipping you selected, your address and the number of items in your shopping cart combined with the total weight and box dimensions required to ship your order. You can see these charges during the checkout process.
Same Day Shipping
Orders placed by 3pm Eastern Time (business days) usually ship the same day. Large quantity orders, multi-line orders, orders for props and special order items typically take longer.
Expected Delivery Dates
For most shipping methods we provide an estimated delivery date. This date is our best estimate of when your order will be delivered based on what we know at that time. That date however is not a guarantee. If your order doesn't arrive when you need it and you no longer want the merchandise, you can refuse delivery or return the merchandise for a refund. We do not issue refunds for shipping costs unless the merchandise was damaged in transit in which case we may request photos of the damage to include the outer packaging so we may file a claim with the carrier.
Free Shipping Offer
If your merchandise total is $75 or more and your "ship to" address qualifies, you'll see the FREE economy shipping option offered on the page where you make your shipping method selection. Not all ship to addresses will qualify for free or upgraded shipping promotions. Orders shipped to Hawaii, Alaska, US Territories or International shipments do not qualify for this free shipping offer. Also, orders for items that have a dimensional weight more than 60lbs and orders for large props and other over-sized items do not qualify for these offers (nor can these items be used in the calculation of the total purchase price to qualify other items for this offer.)
We have partnered with Global Shopex, a trusted third-party to fulfill orders for our international customers. If you live outside the United States, you may purchase from our website using the Global Shopex service which is integrated with our shopping cart. Simply place any items you wish to purchase in your shopping cart and choose the "International Checkout" option which appears at the bottom of the shopping cart page. The items will automatically be transferred into the Global Shopex cart. To complete the transaction, follow the instructions. Global Shopex customers may pay with Visa, Master Card, Amex, Discover, Diners Club, PayPal, Money Gram, Western Union & Bank Transfer. Global Shopex will process your payment and guarantee delivery. Once your order is completed, all inquires about your order should be directed to the Global Shopex Customer Service Department. Questions regarding international shipping costs or timeframes should be directed to Global Shopex's Customer Service Department.
Occasionally packages are returned to us as undeliverable. When the carrier returns an undeliverable package to us, we issue a refund less shipping charges. Additionally, if the package was refused for delivery, we will also assess a 15% re-stocking fee. We are unable to re-ship orders that are returned to us as undeliverable. If you want to purchase items that were returned as undeliverable, you may place a new order.
If you suspect your order cannot be delivered as addressed and you have not received confirmation of its return or refund after four weeks from the expected delivery date, please contact us via our CONTACT US link. Be sure to select the 'Order Related' reason code from the drop-down list.
Failed Delivery Attempts
Most of the carriers we use will make three attempts to deliver a package. It is generally up to the driver's discretion to determine whether a signature is required. If the driver feels it is best to obtain a signature and no one is present to accept the delivery after three attempts, the package will be returned to us. We are unable to re-ship orders that are returned to us as undeliverable. If you want to purchase items that were returned as undeliverable, you may place a new order.
Shipping Address Accuracy
Incorrectly entered addresses may unnecessarily delay your order. Please enter your ship to address information in the appropriate boxes and double-check for typos and other errors. Here are some shipping address tips:
P.O. Box Addresses
If a post office box address was entered in a format our system does not recognize, the package may be shipped through a carrier that cannot deliver to a post office box. To ensure that your order is routed through the proper carrier, please enter the box number as "PO BOX" followed by the number. If you're a private mailbox holder (use a local commercial mail receiving agency such as The UPS Store or similar services), do not use the word "Box" for your mailbox number. Instead, use the pound sign (#) or the abbreviation of "PMB" (Private Mail Box). This will ensure that your address is not mistaken to be a P.O. Box, and that orders can ship to you via means other than the U.S. Postal Service.
APO or FPO Addresses
When entering an APO or FPO address, follow these steps:
- City field: Enter "APO" or "FPO."
- State field: Enter the two-letter code for the region where the recipient is stationed. Typically, but not always, the code is "AE" for recipients stationed in Europe, Canada, Africa, or the Middle East; "AA" for recipients stationed in the Americas; and "AP" for recipients stationed in Asia or the Pacific.
- Country field: Always select "United States" from the drop-down menu regardless of where the recipient is stationed.
All shipments to APO/FPO addresses are sent either via UPS Sure Post (a partnership between UPS and USPS) or USPS Priority Mail. The shipping checkout page specifies which method. We estimate 5 to 10 business days for delivery once the order has been shipped; however, some destinations may take up to 21 days. Sorry, we have no control over these shipping time frames..
Guam and U.S. Protectorates
When entering an address for Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands (U.S.), Guam, American Samoa, Marshall Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, or Federated States of Micronesia please follow these steps:
- Country field: Select the correct place name from the drop-down menu. If the correct place is not listed, choose "United States."
- Zip Code field: Always double check for the correct zip code.
Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA) Addresses
If you are shipping to a private mailbox holder (using a local commercial mail receiving agency), it is important you DO NOT use the word "Box" for your mailbox number. Instead, use # or PMB. This will ensure that your address is not mistaken to be a P.O. Box.
